2025 AGP Finals

 

AGP Finals Date & Location

 

  • AGP Finals 2025 will be held on 11-16 August, 2025, at ALIW THEATER, Manila, Philippines.

  • Details of the Finals will be announced to the candidates directly.

AGP Finals Registration

 

  • AGP Finals is open to the invited candidates only. 

  • Registration details will be announced to the candidates directly.

  • Finals registration fee for Solo Divisions: HK$4,800

  • Finals registration fee for Pas de Deux Divisions: HK$6,000 per pair

 

Health condition

 

AGP values physical and psychological health in dancers, which is essential to a long-term dance career. Candidates must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their condition of health by filling in a health questionnaire as part of the online registration.

 

AGP Finals Procedure

 

  • Master Classes by renowned ballet experts as well as by the members of the jury will be held during the period, which are compulsory to attend.

  • There will be Final - 1st Rounds held on Day 1 to Day 4 to select the candidates for the Final - Final Round held on Day 5.

  • Performance A & B candidates - must perform one Classical Ballet Solo from AGP 2025 Classical Variation List and perform with the music provided by AGP.  No alteration of the music is allowed.

  • Junior A & B, Senior candidates - must perform one Classical Ballet Solo from AGP 2025 Classical Variation List and one Contemporary Ballet Solo (following the set choreography provided by AGP).  Contemporary choreography information will be released after all the AGP Global Regionals are completed in June 2025.  There will be contemporary rehearsal sessions offered by the choreographers during the event. 

  • Pas de Deux candidates - must perform two Classical Pas de Deux (Entrance, adage and coda only) from 2025 Classical Pas de Deux Répertoire List, one for the 1st round and another one for the final round. Rehearsal room will be provided to every pair during the Finals for candidates self practice.

 

AGP Finals Scholarships and Awards

 

  • Asian Grand Prix Award - awarded to candidates aged 15 to 21 who demonstrate exceptional standard of artistry and technique in class and on stage during competition. Winner receives a trophy, a certificate, and HK$60,000. (Participation in the Solo division is compulsory)

  • Youth Asian Grand Prix Award - awarded to candidates aged 13 to 17 who demonstrate exceptional standard of artistry and technique in class and on stage during competition. Winner receives a trophy, a certificate, and HK$40,000, as a relief fund for the purpose of continuing education; the award is exclusively available to AGP-designated partner schools.

  • AGP Partner Schools‘ Scholarship and Direct Entry - awarded by renowned international dance institutes, to candidates who demonstrate high potential of becoming future professional dancers during competition.
     

  • AGP Ballet Intensive Program (BIP) 2026 Scholarship - awarded by AGP, to candidates who demonstrate high potential during competition.
     

  • Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Medals – awarded to candidates in each division, who demonstrate high standards of artistry and technique in class and on stage during competition. Each winner receives a medal, a certificate, and cash stated as below:

    • Solo Division

      • Gold Medal HK$6,000

      • Silver Medal HK$5,000

      • Bronze Medal HK$4,000

    • Pas de Deux Division

      • Gold Medal HK$12,000 (To be shared equally)

      • Silver Medal HK$10,000  (To be shared equally)

      • Bronze Medal HK$8,000  ( To be shared equally)

 

  • Sponsor Prizes - awarded by sponsors to recognize a candidate's potential in dance. Each recipient receives a certificate and a gift item.
